The Monstrous Eye-Scream Sundae Returns for Limited Time Magic

Disney released information on what we can expect for Limited Time Magic on the week of July 29 to August 4, 2013 – here is what it said:

“Prepare yourself for the return of a monster-sized pleasure! Courtesy of a little Limited Time Magic, you can enjoy the reappearance of the Monstrous Eye-Scream Sundae at Magic Kingdom park. Stop by The Plaza Restaurant and Plaza Ice Cream Cone to discover this chilling treat, which comes complete with 2 scoops of mint chip ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, cookie horns, a chocolate eye and sprinkles, all inside a crunchy waffle cone. Don’t miss your opportunity to scare up some summer fun—dig into this delightful dessert before the offer melts away!”

Disney Parks asked everyone to vote on their favorite characters to bring back for Long-Lost Friends week (July 15-21) as part of the Limited Time Magic promotion in 2013. The chosen characters were then available for meet and greets

I really enjoyed this 3 minute video from John Saccheri of BigFatPanda.com – and I just had to share it with you! You may recall we had him as a guest on The Disney Parks Podcast recently –  and as you can tell – he is just as much fun in person! This video also features the fabulous Shelley Caran from OnTheGoinMCO.com – and I think you’ll agree that these two make a great on-camera team!

I love that it is a real video from a real person- with no corporate filtering. It gives you an idea of what it was like to be there, including noise from the crowd surrounding the characters. Even better – it made me crack up laughing, and I hope it does the same for you! Follow BigFatPanda.com on YouTube for more great videos!

Limited Time Magic: “Celebration of Earth Week” at Animal Kingdom – April 22 – April 28

This week as part of Limited Time Magic, celebrate Earth Week with a special edition “Party for the Planet,” in honor of the 15th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Park. Everything kicks off the morning of April 22, with a celebration moment to mark the occasion. Then all week long, Guests may enjoy a Disney character reunion, as Lilo & Stitch, Flik & Atta, Koda & Kenai, and Thumper & Miss Bunny return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom park for cameo appearances in Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade. And each day, Guests may also join these Disney friends, when they reunite for a dance party hosted by DJ Dino-Mite in Dinoland, USA!

Also for this special celebration, Creature Comforts will have available for a limited time a selection of commemorative celebratory merchandise items including tees (for adults, ladies and youth), a hat, limited edition pins, one-of-a-kind 9” designer Vinlymation figures, D-Tech and more.

Limited Time Magic Rumors!! Another All Night Party?!

Just a rumor for now – but I heard Friday May 24th there will be an all night party into Saturday morning in WDW’s Magic Kingdom Park.

Visions of Leap Day are dancing in my head!

Another rumor – Magic Kingdom is considering a Limited Time Magic event that will involve Tinker Bell and her friends for a week. Word is that we will get to meet them all together and they will give out autograph cards similar to the ones we saw earlier this year from the characters during Limited Time Magic.

If the rumor is true – this event would take place in April or early May.

Vinylmation Easter Egg Hunt

Starting Monday you are invited on an Easter egg hunt through select Disney Parks. Search for hidden eggs, mark them with stickers provided on the special Eggs-perience Park map and return to one of the redemption locations for a special prize. You can purchase the special map and stickers for a nominal fee at Port of Entry near the Meet and Greet for Duffy by Showcase Plaza, or at International Gateway.

Next Week’s “Limited Time Magic”… LONG LOST FRIENDS WEEK! 1/21-27/13

January 21st-27th, long-lost friends are returning to Magic Kingdom park and guests may have a rare chance to see classic characters in Town Square. Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, Robin Hood, Friar Tuck, the Three Little Pigs and more will be appearing!

We will have more information on this breaking story as it becomes available.
