At the Magic Kingdom, the new “Tangled” themed area looks like it’s nearing completion and should be open sometime soon. There is a waterfall feature on the tower that is now up and running, as is the river underneath the bridge. Final touches on the landscaping, trees, and plants seem to have been installed. As of now, the area is confirmed to open with two restrooms, a charging station area for cellphones, and lush scenery inspired by “Tangled”. I’ve also heard talk of a character meet-n-greet at this location. We’ll just have to wait and see, I guess. This new complex is being built to replace the nearby restrooms, which will reportedly be closing to create an extended, interactive NextGen queue for Peter Pan’s Flight.
